Last chance this year to get your old war horse out for a run. Its been a fun time this summer and fall but hunting season is just around the corner. Come on out to Lincoln Ikes this Saturday, Oct. 20th, for the last go round. Sight in at 08:00 and match starts at 09:00. Make a morining of it and bring your .22 out for the CMP style .22 sporter that follows on the same range. Information and directions can be found at the link below. And thanks to all of the folks who have made these matches such safe and fun events this year. We will be doing it agian next year!

I'll not be shooting, for obvious reasons, but i'll see if i can make it out and watch, or maybe bring the camera out!

ill have to miss this one again. stupid work.

I need to make sure I've got enough ammo. Time to get some loading done! :-[

What time does it usually last until? I think I'll be out in that area. My daughter has a first time meeting for trap, and I think its at Ikes. Don't have any rifles but we might check it out.

The match is usually over by about 10:30 or so depending on how many shooters we have. The Vintage is followed by the .22 Sporter CMP shoot that usually lastes until about 13:OO. So if you are out at the range something should be going on untill then. Please do stop over and check it out.

I'm in for sure. Now what to bring to shoot. HMMM...

First off gsd my heart felt sympathies for your situation. I have been involved in motorcycling for most of my life and have been in your place two times over the years. Its a very difficult road and I appriceate what you have to deal with both mentally and physically. Best wishes for your continued healing for sure.
And. Please do come out to the shoot and bring that camera. If you get some shots I could do a little write up for the news letter to go along with them for a wrap up on this years events. Hope to see you there.

GSD, if you come out to watch bring that scope we talked about.
I'll have a new (old) toy to show off at the match.....

Well, guess that settles it! I'll be there with camera in hand.

Can we plan on two relays? My nephew wants to shoot, but I would like to watch over him. No one is in danger, I've been shooting with him since he was a pup. I would just like to help him do well.
We can put him to work on moving backers for the Sporter.

Not a problem. A second relay adds little time to the match over all.

Ray, as promised here is a link to all the pictures I took. I Tried to snap one of each of the shooters, plus a few more. It was easier to attach them as a solid link then to try to hyperlink each one. The link should be set to public, so enjoy!

Great pics gsd!
My son & I participated in the first VRM of the year this Spring & fully intended to be there for the last one too. But, 'stuff' came up & we just couldn't make it on Saturday. We were both pretty sad puppies yesterday.
Like any good farmer would say......."There's always next year!" ;D
Thanks for the pics again!

Thanks for coming out and taking the photos. We had one of the best weather days I can remember and a good turn out for the match. The great shots of the match, shooters and rifles are a real treat. I will be putting together an article for the IKE's news letter with match results and will certinly add a few of the photos. Good Job and I hope you are back in full form soon.

Anytime guys! Glad you like the pictures!

thanks for sharing the pictures!
We made it out there before our meeting, but By the time we found where this was taking place, I think everyone was fixing / replacing the targets and it was about time to go up to the clubhouse.
Saw the Long Range range with the little steel animals. Looked pretty neat.
