I'm not sure if it will do any good, but GunsAmerica has started up a petition to head off the attempts to limit 2A rights in light of the recent events.

The petitions are just a feel good thing to make it sound like they're listening to us, but what the heck.  I signed it.

So I got an e-mail today titled "A message from President Obama about Your Petition on Reducing Gun Violence.  Hmm...I thought I signed a petition about supporting law abiding gun owners and protecting the 2A.  I'm guessing some of you may have got this e-mail as well.  The petition was closed at 57k and some signatures.

I think this was a generic response to all petitions related to this subject.  I'm sure there were a bunch calling for an AWB too.
