I found this on a car enthusiast website, thought I would bring it over here for y'all to ponder/share/spread around.

That is an excellent article on the practical fallacy of gun control- the fact it was written by a self-avowed Leftist is astounding.

I would only add a clear & accurate apologetic for the 2A would be welcome. Considering his likely audience (other leftists) I understand why that was left out.

I enjoyed the: "The Brady Campaign, the strongest advocate for these bans, has taken this particular work one step farther since Aurora. They have now redefined “mass shootings” to include all drive-bys involving a shot fired toward three or more people, regardless of whether anyone was even actually hurt, leading them to assert that there are “20 mass shootings every year”.

If you can't find substantial statistics...just make them up.  :o

What a well written article. I enjoy reading things like that without a lot of hype or scare tactics built in.  I also like how the author attmepts to describe the features that were (are) part of the ban legislation to the firearms naive.  Being reasonable like this author I think is the key to gaining public support of our cause with the general public.

Great post OP
