Just picked up 500 rds. of pmc bronze .223 at Scheels in Omaha for $10.99 per 20.
They have a good 9000 rds. Left of PMC and about 1500 rds. of Remington UMC left.

Wow, they were limiting people in Lincoln.

Yeah, no limit signs as of 30 minutes ago. I didn't have any more $ with me or I would have bought more. lol
-
$11 per 20 rounds is a bull**** price
-
Not if its 62 grain...
-
The PMC is 55gr. I think the Remington was too.
The Remington was a little more. I think it was $12 or $13 a box.
-
Now I need to go sell these for $20 a box on Gunbroker. ;D <kidding>
-
$0.55/ round for PMC at a big box store?
PASS
But if these prices keep up I just may invest in a progressive and get my Type 6.
-
WOW!, and I left $7.99 MFS on the shelf @ Cabela's Stupid, stupid
-
how many of you are reloading yet?
-
I've been cranking out ammo for my AR on a single stage press...it's gettin a little monotonous.
I saw Cabelas finally has 223 brass (Winchester) back in stock if anyone's interested.
-
They don't have any left now. I just purchased the rest of the PMC. They have a few remington left but for 12.99
-
I was able to order Hornady 224 53gr Vmax bullets for reloading from Midway today. They are sold out of a lot of that stuff now.

I keep saying I'm going to buy a progressive but I haven't gotten around to it. Maybe I should start loading my .223 blasting ammo on my turret press.
-
I went to cabelas and got 55 gr hornady for $27/ box of 50 this morning...:)
-
It's good to see the ammo trickling in. It sucks that it's still a little pricey, but this is my first .223 so I don't know any different.
-
i presume that once everybody gets their 4000 rounds bought, .223 will come back down (hopefully). 50 cents a round seems silly.
-
It may not go back down ..... handgun ammo is not back down to what it was in Sept 2008 ......
