Title: Ashford introduced an ammunition bill

Looks like he's trying to make ammunition the same as a gun across the board.

Sounds to me like this guy doesn't particularly care to keep his job...

Considering the people in his district keep supporting him I don't think he's too worried.  He's pandering to the liberals in Omaha so he can run for Mayor.

Maybe it is time something is done about that.

Just read through the Bill again.  Seems pretty stupid, and very ambiguous.   They don't even define what ammunition is.  If you have a shell casing in your car is that considered "ammunition" or is it only a fully ready to fire bullet.  What about a lead bullet for a muzzle loader.  Is that ammunition or just a ball of lead?

I take my son out shooting all the time with his .22 and the last time his pickup bed had a bunch of spent .22 casings because we were shooting near the back of his truck.  He's a juvenile, so does that mean he's in possession of "ammunition" and committing a felony if this bill passes and an officer sees one of the casings in the back.  /facepalm

As always with these anti-gun bills .errr anti-ammunition bills I move that this bill be advanced to the trash can.

IIRC, he's term limited out .... and running for Mayor of Omaha.

So he's going to throw as much anti-gun stuff at the wall as he can, and see what sticks.

Bringing ammo into the laws so it can then start to be regulated??
