Title: Military spouse
Post by: HuskerXDM on January 13, 2013, 09:15:11 PM
Am I correct in remembering that the legislature did not fix the issue with out-of-state military personal's (stationed in Nebraska) spouses being able to get CHPs?  I have a Texas resident stationed in Nebraska who wants to get CHP along with his wife (who is still a Texas resident too).

Thanks

Why don't they just get their TX permits? But the short answer is she cannot being a military spouse.

I am in contact with several Senators trying to get this addressed, they all say yes we can support this but getting one to say yes I will introduce it is harder.

That's what I suggested to them.  Never heard back, maybe they don't go back often... who knows.
