Title: 2nd Amendment Rally, Feb 8th

I just saw a youtube video of Hickok45, hopefully you know who he is. Anyways he says there is another rally at each state capitol Feb 8th @ 10:00am, sounds like it is being put on by a group called 2nd Rights. Was anyone else aware of this? Are we supporting this? I have the day off so was going to go down. I talked to the NFOA guys at the booth at the gun show and they said that they had not heard about it and didn't think they would do anything for its since there is a meeting in the capital with legislaters and senator Johanns that is already scheduled.

I'll actually be at the capitol that day. I would ask that, should more tin foil nuttery be displayed, that reasonable people at least turn their backs on the speakers. It only hurts us to be lumped in with them.

I would not recommend open carry.  Personally, I think it's counterproductive and just scares non-gun owners.

I won't make this one due to work.  I wonder whose idea it was to schedule it on a weekday?

I would imagine a weekday during the legislative session is the best time to be noticed by senators.

Very few people there today. A gal there said something about a rally on 2/23. Anyone heard of that. I thought that date was pretty clever.
