Someone this obsessed would have found some means to carry out something horrific

It is just more evidence in my mind that these killers are replaying a ritualistic violent video game, in an attempt to set a new high score  and go out in a blaze of "glory" or "fame"

And we oblige by creating ever more defense free zones and 24/7 news coverage

Correct, and as usual people want to treat the symptom instead of the problem.

In regards to the 24/7 news coverage, yes I agree Dan. I was even somewhat reluctant to post the link but what we may not see as part of the `coverage` is just how sick and distorted some of these individuals are.
How did mom not know?
