Having been recently diagnosed with a incurable illness, I will be auctioning off my collection (some 50 guns) by the end of the week to the highest bidders. CALL, DO NOT TEXT! If you are interested in bidding, please call me at 985-655-2500. You can listen to the message for a list of inventory then leave your bid.

Oh man. I am so sorry to hear about your illness. I have always wondered what I would do if in the same situation? Now I know. Share my collection with my friends here at NFOA. I congratulate your courage in this time of pain my friend.
You have some sweet stuff there for sale. I am definitelty putting in my bid on the Colt "snake" guns. Would be awesome to add those to my collection. Of course, I had to put a bid on the AR's - Who can resist a Colt or Bushmaster new in box for a $100 starting bid?? NOW, those HK's are a different story. I am on a mission and I will not be denied! I also put in an opening bid of $1000 for the Barret .50 - I have always wanted one, just not sure where I am going to shoot it if I am the high bidder.

Sorry to hear about the illness. :( Good luck on your auction.
Do you want me to share this with some other shooters I know?

How much do you expect that Rick Roll-ing Block to go for?

Do you want me to share this with some other shooters I know?
Sure....but I would ask that you call and find out the details of the auction first to avoid any misrepresentation.

Man, people just aren't getting it, are they? :D I knew what was going on from the subject line before I even read the message!

My prayers for you, and especially for your family. My God bless you and keep you.

A lesson is "Situational Awareness". Always be a skeptic, always ask questions, always be on the alert. To those of you who "appreciated" my sense of humor..... kudos. To those who didn't ....I still got your six.....
-
I smelled a scam at " I need to sell.".....;)
Went thru them motions later, the suspense of what the phone message would say was killing me.
-
I scrolled down and read the whole thread before I even tried calling, lol ;D

My first thought was Louisiana area code?... then I'm thinking - wow - that's how Steve McQueen went! Then I noticed the April 1st posting and the baloney meter went off. Bravo, Bullit! 8)

I always gave as one of my first physics test a single page exam with questions on both sides. On the first page were the instructions to read ALL of the questions first before attempting to solve any of them. The last question on the back side stated:
20: Ignore all previous instructions and the previous 19 questions. Place your pencil and paper down, and watch the others work their heads of trying to beat the deadline.
I, of course, watched to see who was putting their papers down and looking up at me, a grin on their faces. It averaged about 20%. But, not closely reading instructions, or starting to work without reading any instructions is something we all do at one time or another. The more familiar we are with something the more likely we are to do it. When it gets hazardous is when the "instructions" are something like the pre-flight check list. That's one you were you do not want to skip any steps or ignore altogether.

DAMN IT! Do you mean you aren't dying and selling your gun collection? Well that just sucks!
I was hoping I could at least get some 9mm at a good price out of this deal.
Yes...I am just kidding.
