Just reminding folks that our next Steel Challenge match is coming up this Sunday---as always, the match will have six stages.
Help set up at 7:15am when registration starts. Registration closes at 8:40 with the safety briefing. Shooter's meeting at 9am.
Only $15!
I'll be in Illinois for the Area 5 match, so you all have fun without me... :(
(Wish I could shoot both!)

SO - what he means is "someone ELSE can win production" :)

What a perfect way to celebrate Fathers day! Of course my wife isn't too keen about it. But I told her, if it was Mothers Day no way in h e double l. But if I am supposed to do something I like for Fathers Day, why not shoot? See you all there.

78 shooters showed up? Man, I wish I could have made it...
Hope everyone had a good time!

MOAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
need more steel challenge matches!
awesome time today!
the little 10/22 did well today ;)
-
I mis-informed Thomas about the # of shooters - we had 79!
It was an awesome day! We had 79 people registered, squadded, shot 6 stages, and were done by 2pm. I have to say, ENPS runs a great match.
SO - for those who loved it, come out and shoot the sectional!
-
Just curious, what happened to the results?
-
At the present moment, we're having a malfunction with the scoring system. 3 of us all have the same issue of not showing all the competitors results even though all the scores have been entered. I believe Terry is going to contact USPSA for assistance.
-
How come USPSA doesn't have a APP to enter Steel match scores yet???????
As much loot as they collect from all the clubs, surely they can afford that :-)
-
uh oh looks like we are gonna have to re-shoot the match ;D
-
The scores have been uploaded to the enps page.
There was a glitch in the database, and I made an error which apparently caused chaos to ensue. Hopefully this will not happen again.

Thanks for everything you do for the club Julie!

We had 79 competitors---6 stages, 5 of which had 5 runs, and 1 of which had 4 runs.
Which means she had to register, squad, and enter into the match 79 people, and then enter two thousand ninety-one data points (all of the individual string times) ---and that was in addition to shooting the match herself.
Yeah, she works a bit. :)

Definitely a big +++
That is a tough job that requires a lot of commitment and no pay.
THANK YOU JULIE!!!
I am stunned that USPSA does not have electronic scoring for Steel Challenge (on the Nooks/Palms/iPods, etc....) That is a HUGE amount of work for someone to manually enter each score (while trying to decipher 20 different individuals handwriting

You are welcome. I don't get paid, but I do take "gifts." I like jewelry, clothing, Harley stuff, wine coolers, longshot powder, small rifle primers, etc.
PractiScore is working on a module for Steel Challenge. Last I communicated with them (a few months ago) - there was some "legal stuff" that they were working through. They were hoping (at that time) to have a program to beta test by the end of this year.

Yes, she does. [sigh]

And it'll be wonderful when they do. The really cool thing is that coding for Practiscore will be simple---as usual, it is the interface with EZ Steel (the USPSA official SC program) that will be difficult.

At least I'm easy to shop for! :)
