Title: Some long range pistol practice today.
Post by: sjwsti on August 12, 2013, 07:56:19 PM
Got in some long range handgun practice today on 88 Tacticals new 100yd range. This is a skill that I have been neglecting and today was a much needed tune up.

The .22 is a Marvel 1911 conversion. This is the first time I have shot it past 50yds, and it does everything Marvel says it should. It is the most accurate .22 pistol I own, and hits on a steel IPSC at 100yds got boring after a while.

The 9mm is my carry gun, a plain old G17. 100yd hits with it were more challenging but certainly doable. I need to get more consistent with it before I try going out any further.
