No revolvers allowed?

Seriously, I saw it posted today, I guess I am to assume semi-autos are okay?
No verbiage, just the graphic, at a place I was surprised to see it.

For quite a while most of the Goodwills in Omaha had a sign that depicted the silhouette of a Nintendo video game gun with a slash through it.
I never thought they were that dangerous...

See similar jokes about signs that meant 'no beretta' etc etc etc

I think only revolvers with a Hogue grip are banned.
Seriously, this is why we need uniform signage. I've seen some ridiculous signs that just don't make it apparent.

Those grips are deadly.

I agree, I don't run into many signs surprisingly but this one stood out.

Maybe We need to send Copy's of each type to Mr Chambers (Uncle Ernie)
And request for a Clarification on each as to it's meaning ?

Just blued revolvers are banned. Stainless is okay :D

Ruger MK II's and switchblades are banned from Lincoln city libraries.
The worst two signs I've personally seen are:
1. Rivers Metal Products in Lincoln. It's hung in a tinted window and virtually impossible to see.
2. Open Harvest grocery store also in Lincoln. It has a long tirade about the evils of carrying a gun. Almost as bad as the one RobertH posted from his old high school.

I think it means, you cannot hit your target with the muzzle pointed perpendicular to it.
You need to point your handgun towards your target, to get these results.

Or make sure it's pointed to the left - and maybe straight

While I don't agree with the criminal in charge here signs, the sign depicted comes straight from the Nebraska State Patrol's website on concealed carry information under "forms" as an "approved type of sign".
