My thoughts are that the people writing these articles don't know what they are talking about.

Hmmm. Trusts = Lawyers. Lawyers like $$$. Reducing the number of trusts = Less Lawyer pay. Most congress critters are ... Lawyers. Lawsuits = Lawyers. Lawsuits = $$$ for Lawyers.
I may be wrong, but somehow I see lawyers and courts (and $$$) in the near future because of these “Executive Orders”.

[legal pedantry]Sigh. Trusts are not "legal entities" in the strict, most correct sense of that term. They are relationships as to property in which the legal ownership and beneficial interest in said property are divided between at least two different people.[/legal pedantry]
I agree with the sentiment, though, and I think the Prince Law blog is covering these developments better than anyone else.
