This uber high intensity course will facilitate increased knowledge for rapid patient assessment and the management of traumatic injuries while under hostile, tactical conditions. 

Course Details
Up for a challenge? This course pushes participants with a dynamic blend of live-fire work and tactical medicine in an eight hour class at our Tekamah training facility. The essential extension of our TAC MED LEVEL 1, 88 Tactical’s TAC MED LEVEL 2 teaches advanced responses to life threatening medical emergencies and how to engage in rapid patient assessment and triage while under duress. The advanced student will hone their skill set in tactical medicine, management of serious sprains and fractures, care for deep cuts and lacerations, and proper GSW (gunshot wound) care. Range segment builds off recap of LEVEL 1 course of fire.

Four Universal Rules of Firearm Safety
Blood and gore: Mental preparation for the battlefield
Recognizing life threatening medical emergencies
Care of sprains, fractures
Advanced splinting techniques
Care for deep cuts and lacerations
Suturing

Live-fire portion of course
Shooting from various unorthodox firing positions
Advanced one hand shooting/weapon manipulations
Man down! Rescue tactics under fire

Eligibility Requirements
No pre-existing or underlying health issues. There are aspect to this course that are both physically demanding and emotionally challenging.
Successful completion of FIGHTING HANDGUN LEVEL 1 or equivalent
Successful completion of TAC MED LEVEL 1 or equivalent
Valid government issued ID (e.g. Drivers License, Military ID or Passport)

Equipment Requirements
Eye and ear protection
Semi-auto pistol
Two to three magazines or speedloaders
Serviceable holster and mag/speed loader carry pouches
Note: NO IWB HOLSTERS ALLOWED
400 rounds of factory new practice ammunition (no handloads)
Dress and head wear as weather dictates
Sack lunch and water
