Tony Fulton
« on: October 04, 2009, 08:11:27 AM »
I recieved a message from our esteemed Senator Tony Fulton. He is term limited in 2012 and has decided to run for the position of State Treasurer. Shane Osborne will not be running for re-election and our good senator has decided to continue his service to the citizens of Nebraska. I think that we owe the good Senator our support  in appreciation for everything he has done for gun owners of Nebraska.

I'm sure he'll do a good job, but I do wish he would run for something more influential, like Congress.  Maybe this will be a stepping stone for him, get him more statewide exposure.

Thats kinda what I thought too...the State Treasurer's post is recognized by many as a political stepping stone to the Governor's mansion

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

I'd love to see THAT.
The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and  THAT is a damned shame.  III.
