Dan I hope you will be there Sunday. Maybe we can talk a little reloading in between all the new members we sign up.

Well we where only off by one sign up today we needed 68 to one up the Saturday crew and we got 69. Scott says it may be the first time Sunday was better than Saturday.
I did'nt have to buy beer this time around.
It was nice to meet Jeb, Jim and Dan and get talk with Scott more.
Had a great time meeting a lot of new members as well. To those of you that signed up this weekend, Welcome.
Hope to get the chance to do this again soon, perhaps Millard.

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

I think everyone who helped did a great job. Jerry was asking everyone who came by on both days, JebM was great help, Eagle 1 really helped out sunday, and Dan, Jesse and Andy did their part to take the heat off of me. We had a couple of tough sells that I had to get involved in, but we nailed them down. I really appreciate the help guys, it frees me up to try and cover my expenses, and keeps my attitude positive when I don't have to deal with the few people who won't stand up for our rights.

I attended a Friends of the NRA banquet tonight, signed up two, and made contacts with local Pheasants Forever and NWTF officers. I will be attending their meetings when I get the chance. Hard to hit up a crowd when dealing with NRA only types. Amazing the amount of money they will spend while drinking and showing off for their buddies. At least the funds go to a good cause.

I owe you a beer if that couple isn't a dupe, we'll settle after we find that out. Fair enough?

I was glad to get the chance to help the cause and meet a couple fellow members face to face. For those of you that attend the shows but are not helping at the table that day, make sure to stop by and introduce yourself. I had a chance to talk with Mosin and a couple others when they stopped by.
Besides, that helps with signing up new members as they see that is not just the people at the table, it's people just like them at the show. Every member that you meet is another friend with common interest. I once asked my daughter how she could talk to people so easily. She replied, well I just find something we have in common and start there. Well we have firearms, the second amendment, ccw, hunting, all good places to start.
As for the beer I would settle for each buying a round and just call it good. If we can not come to a civil conclusion to this national debate perhaps we could settle it in DC in the back yard next to the helo pad. I am a bit of a redneck and drink American.

Got another new member today. 11/13/09
