UPLULA by Maglula.  Why did it take me so long to go there.

Made in Isreal.  Polymer.  You can hook it on your range bag.

You can hook it on your belt.

It load ANY magazine from 9 to 45  faster than you can do it by hand.

After spending a couple weekends reloading the Shield's mags with my old Ruger mag loader (not really a loader, just a loader assist) which works fine on my Ruger P95 mags but not so well on the skinny Shield mags, I decided to try one.

It is fantastic.  I don't know why I didn't get one before now.

The golf course is a willful and deliberate misuse of a perfectly good rifle range!      Jeff  Cooper

Yes...the best thing ever.  I like it when I tell people about it and they pull out their XDm, Glock, or whatever magazine loader that came with their gun.  They say "I got one with the gun" and then I proceed to slap in 10 rounds before they can get two in.

When I'm at the range and momentarily misplace my UPLULA, I panic just a little until I find it again.

I've actually turned around and made the hour round trip back home from the range just because I forgot it once lol

I was just thinking about trying one of these out on the way into work this morning. My glock(used) did not come with one and loading more than a few rounds in the mag is a pain. I will have to add it to my post Xmas list :)

I love mine. With a little practice it will even load skinny .380 mags.

They are fantastic.  Best of all?  They make a version for .223 mags, too.  (Which works just as well to quickly unload a .223 mag as it does to load one.)

Currently, I only have one .223 MagLula.  (Need to buy a couple more.)  I've got about 5 of the UpLulas, though.  :)

Mine is marked "Multi" ... it will load .223 and 5.56. ;)

Might have to add the pistol version to my stocking stuffer list.

I've never tried the .223 version since AR mags are so easy to load.  I should borrow one sometime and try it.

They make an AR magazine loader that looks pretty slick.

BUT they think it is worth $470.  :o

AND, you can get in PINK !!

Well, they oughta make that Little Sucker in BLAZE ORANGE so it is harder to lose at the gun range.

Y'know...........when you're finished shooting and are grabbing all your stuff spread all over the place and tryin' to jam it back into your range bag.   (Ever had that sinking feeling on the way home, like:  "I know I got the Ruger, but did I remember to pack the XD40?")

And if I can't get BLAZE ORANGE, then PINK is OK for Those of Us Who Are Established in Our Mas-que-lini-teeeeee.

Race ya sometime.  It is ridiculous how fast you can load one with ease.  :)  (Borrow mine at the next match.  You'll be like "Why don't I already own one of these?")

Plus, unloading AR mags gets annoying after the match.  With the Lula, you just ratchet the toggle back and forth and the mag empties itself.

i must be weird... i use my fingers.

Which I'm sure works fine.  I just know that for me, if I'm loading up 20 magazines prior to a match, it's a lot simpler and MUCH faster to use a Lula.

And if you lose a Lula, you can still always use your fingers.

For my way of thinking, I always figured that "tool-using" was supposed to be a plus.  :)

Tools are for the more advanced species.  Just kidding.

You need to try one.  Maybe you have some ridiculously easy magazines to load, but if they are anything like most mags, you will REALLY like it.

If you have 5.56 or .223 on stripper clips ... you can load insanely fast.

Do you guys buy the rounds already on stripper clips, or do you buy/collect/appropriate the stripper clips and slide the rounds on yourselves?  Not even sure if you can do that, but don't know why not.  I know sliding them on would take some time, but if you just wanted to have a lot of ammo in reserver ready for the zombie apocalypse, then a bunch of surplus stripper clips would be nice.
