I've gotten a lot of requests for more short seminars on various topics in the last year or so, so we at
Precision Response Training have decided that if you want 'em, we'll hold 'em.
We've got three seminars set up for the first half of the year. Each is a morning seminar, each is $40, and each is going to take a particular topic, work on specific techniques/skills/tactics in that topic, and at the end of each technique/skill/tactic have a little competition. (And then there will be an ending drill that incorporates everything in the seminar.) These three seminars are pistol-only. (At least one later in the year will be carbine/handgun oriented.)
Topics and dates are:
March 28th: Pistol Skills seminar. Focusing on specific fundamental pistol skills, we'll work with 3-4 specific skills needed for fast accurate shooting in ways that are applicable to defense and competition. If you can't shoot quickly and accurately, nothing else matters.
April 25: Competition Skills seminar. The May USPSA match at ENGC is a special classifier, and so in this seminar we'll be working some of the specific skills needed to do well on the classifiers. (No, we won't be actually setting up or running the classifiers directly.) Unsurprisingly, the skills that will enable you to do well on the classifiers will also help you do well at matches.
July 18: Tactical Actions seminar. Using good tactics in a self-defense situation means making good
choices regarding your actions (whether movement, physical technique, or verbalization). So--how much practice have you had in making good choices for self-defense? What sort of choices do you make under stress?
Registration is available online at
http://precisionresponse.4t.com/Schedule.htmlWhen you register for a seminar, it'll come up as "Blacker Ops" for all three seminars, so check the date to make sure it is the one you want.
If you register for
all three at one time, I'll give you a 10% discount. (The cart won't show it, so check out normally. When I get the registration and run your charge, I'll add the discount.)
Edited to update seminar dates.
