This looks promising.  Hopefully he'll be open to the militia being armed too, by taking state power away from anti-gun bigots who post no guns signs; then all we'll need is for the legislature to get on board...

It was really left up to the commander to decide who carries. I wouldn't get to excited right now.

That was exactly my point. If he doesn't want to he doesn't have to. I am glad to see I'm not the only one thinking that way.

I had a long post types up but didn't post it the other day.... But it's a PR stunt imo.

The lincoln recruiting office is in the Old armory on military rd its inside a 8' wire fence with a minimum wage cell phone armed guard at the gate.

After 911 is when they installed all that and had armed millitary guards at the gates. Now we sit at a "low" threat level no more real security .

It's all just a public smoke screen to make you think everyone is safe.
