Lets be clear. Politicians don't do anything unless it has something to do with dipping into the national funds. Politics is all about making deals to get a hold of money. Doesn't matter that these politicians swear to uphold our Rights, but peck away at those Rights to get at money.

Every time a gun control law is passed, there is some behind the scene entity created or reinforced, money allocated and money pocketed. It is a political coupe to get a government entity set up in your State (building, employment, government money). Cash to fund law enforcement (controlling States with government funds). More confusing law to take away our Rights.

We all need to quit supporting the superficial rhetoric of gun pros vs. cons and discuss the core purpose of our politicians.  The pro vs. con is nothing more than a tool to divide people.  This is why the 2nd A. is preyed upon, it is easy to create division with lack of knowledge, apathy and fear. Toss in a little political correctness and it is easy to sway the numbers.  Supporters will set back in inactivity and disbelief as their Right is further "infringed".

Politicians depend upon general ignorance.  The general call is that we should take action to "save just one life". Yet the opportunities for greater return are ignored (more frequent events that take human life).  Every time there is a mass gun killing, our President goes on national television and explains that these type events do not occur in any other country in the world. This lie is proven wrong by easily available fact, yet it is repeated every time.  People should be outraged that we are lied to by a national leader. Doesn't seem to be a problem.

People can understand money and corruption.  We need to discuss who it getting the money instead of the superficial "gain".  Every time a law is passed, we pay in money and liberty.  In most cases, the superficial issue is not even touched or enforced. But, you can guarantee the money is spent.

Obama is a community organizer, and it looks like he's planning on working with his PR team the liberal press to energize the community of liberal cattle for a coming surge in his war on the Republic.  The elections of '08 and '12 showed us just how destructive it can be when the liberal cattle herd is led to stampede.  But so far patriots have managed to defend the Republic from any large scale attempts at civilian disarmament (with a few exceptions in some states), and I think we'll continue to do that.  But it won't happen by itself.  We need to fight back as enthusiastically as liberal bigots attack us.

One good thing about all this is that it's waking a lot of people up about the reality of gun control.  I don't see many people any more claiming that Obama isn't really trying to take our guns (though there are a few).  I think this effort might ultimately result in a backlash, that could lead to a stronger resistance movement and lessening of some of the more illegal gun control edicts.  But once again, it won't happen by itself.  We need to find ways to harness the energy of patriotism Obama's treasonous acts are creating, and put it to a good purpose.
The liberal cult seeks destruction of the American Republic like water seeks low ground.

After the Newtown, CT shootings there was a White House document released (I still have the .pdf) titled Now Is The Time. The President’s plan to protect our children and our communities by reducing gun violence. (Jan 16, 2013 see attachment)

Quote, "The President’s plan includes:
1. Closing background check loopholes to keep guns out
of dangerous hands;
2. Banning military-style assault weapons and high-capacity
magazines, and taking other common-sense steps to reduce
gun violence;
3. Making schools safer; and
4. Increasing access to mental health services.
While no law or set of laws will end gun violence, it is clear that the American
people want action. If even one child’s life can be saved, then we need to act.
Now is the time to do the right thing for our children, our communities, and
the country we love."

What is different this time?  Did anything happen from the last plan? Is it just time to scare the gun nuts to force spending in a crappy economy?
