Another one of my analogies. How dangerous is skydiving? Statistically it is safer than a lot of high risk activities and occupations. For example, farming. You have a better chance of getting severely injured or severely dead while working on a farm than you do as a skydiver. Now if you remove all the idiot skydivers doing incredibly stupid things, then it is actually MUCH safer than lots of activities. Maybe even safer than your morning commute.
So same thing with guns, the idiots are the ones making us look bad. Don't be one of those guys.
