Lincoln's "Vital Signs" report. Neener Neener Neener!!!
« on: August 23, 2017, 07:36:47 PM »
 :P

Violent crime rates down 32% in Lincoln since 2005.  I am fairly certain that a good number of giant brains there solemnly predicted widespread murder and mayhem when CCW became legal in 2007.

What on earth could have happened?  Could it be that the citizens of Nebraska can indeed be trusted?  Are the instincts of some of our leaders out of touch?

I believe you need to send that to our illustrious "Safety Director" as if memory serves he was in the forefront of that discussion.

You know "Wild West" "Blood in the streets" and all that stuff.  lol

Thanx.  I forwarded to my contact on the city council. (who also happens to be one of our firearms training students. ;)

If crime had gone up instead of down the liberal propaganda machine called the Lincoln Journal would have considered it very newsworthy, with at least one front page story about how they told us so.  But since the opposite happened I guess it isn't newsworthy.  I bet they were frantically searching for some gun control law that came along around the time the crime rate started dropping they could say was the reason.

So how about this: Obama was elected in '08, and the lower crime rate is because of his brilliant leadership of the nation, in spite of all those Nebraska hicks being able to carry a gun.  Is that good enough to get me a job with the Lincoln Journal?

I think I should sent that to my state senator, who gave me a good laugh by posting on FB he's running for reelection. I've not voting for him because he didn't vote for LB68. Only time he voted yes was on attempts by Chambers to move it into his committee so he could kill it.

"People decide where to live based on opportunities to satisfy basic needs: safety (93%), jobs (83%), and housing (83%)."

Who are they kidding? First and foremost, people live where they can afford to. Everything else comes after that.
