John Buckley turned himself in about 1:13 pm. He held some hostages, and was fired from NTV news station last wednesday. More details to follow.
One of our members was on the roof with a 308 remington 700. He did not have to take a shot, but I bet he froze his butt off for two hours.

KEARNEY - Downtown businesses locked their doors today to protect employees from a hostage situation at Wells Fargo Bank.
Doug Deterding, owner of Deterding Alternatives/Classic Pool and Spa at 2121 Second Ave., said he closed the store as soon as the situation came to his attention.
?I?m trying to make sure that there?s no one that comes into a dangerous situation,? he said.
An employee getting firewood outside Deterding?s business saw police with rifles outside Wells Fargo.
Deterding?s employees watched as a young girl and two men were let out of Wells Fargo. The hostages came out with their hands up and crawled to safety. They were then questioned by police.
Mark Sutko of Platte Valley State Bank at 2223 Second Ave. said doors at his bank were locked as a precaution, but employees are still inside.
Employees at stores inside Kauffman?s Center were instructed to evacuate the building.
The Emergency Response Unit arrived at the scene around 11:30 a.m. and was stationed on the west side of Tier One Bank at 2120 First Ave.
Employees at Tier One exited shortly after the Emergency Response Unit arrived and Kearney Police, Buffalo County Sheriff?s officers and city manager Mike Morgan entered the bank.
UPDATED 1:30 p.m. 02-10-10: KEARNEY - The hostage crisis that began at 11:15 a.m. today ended almost two hours later when the hostage taker emerged without his shotgun from Wells Fargo Bank.
Police immediately took the man into custody and then entered the bank to check for people who might have been hiding inside.
