Medical Marijuana and gun ownership.
« on: November 26, 2024, 10:14:31 PM »
If someone gets a prescription for medical marijuana, how does it affect their 2nd amendment rights in Nebraska? In the US? I can't see where it would make any difference, but I may be missing something. Any thoughts?
It seems weird that it wouldn't have any affect, but I can't see it anywhere.

To the best of my knowledge, marijuana is still a illegal drug according to the federal government.  Until that changes, I believe any use/documentation of its use could cause issues regarding purchase/possession of firearms.

I guess it's still being sorted out. A possible reclassification would make it a moot point.
