OWH Public Pulse Today
« on: January 07, 2011, 01:26:41 PM »
I was cruising through the OWH web site this morning and noted that in today?s Public Pulse there is a comment from an M.D. from Canada about the Millard South shooting.

First of all, Canada?  What does this guy know about Nebraska?  After reading through his comments I was just about ready to fire off an email to the OWH editors refuting this individuals blatant disregard of the facts about gun control.  Then I thought better of it.

Is he baiting someone in Nebraska into a discussion where he can use his ?credentials? as an educated man to further his obviously anti-gun political agenda?  I also looked at the idea that this is the first comment about this tragedy that OWH has posted in the public pulse section, is this the OWH once again disguising their liberal agenda by printing the first anti-comments that came through the door?

I believe that someone should present a counter argument to this dim wit?s comments, but also realize that anything coming from me is going to be characterized as a ?gun freak? getting his fanatic viewpoint into print.  I believe that we as a community would be better served if that counter argument came from someone in a more authoritative position than mine.

Comments?

The opinion is question is here: http://www.omaha.com/article/20110107/NEWS0802/701079983/-1#the-public-pulse-january-7

I would recomend ignoring him, poking the village idiot just causes the rest of them to come to his aide.  What proof do I have he is the village idiot, no not that he is from Canada but his point of referance: the "website Tracetheguns.org, set up by mayors against illegal guns."
