When are you going to buy an XD so we can have a "Wield your Springfield" event?  ;)
The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.

Wellllllllllllll...................

Too Bad.

I just checked Randy's Thunder Alley website and there's no mention of available Glock rentals.   Ammo for sale, yes.   Glocks for rent, no.

Being One of the Few Who are Glockless, I'll have to pass on this Most Excellent event.

But when HuskerXDM sets up the Field Your Springfield Classic, I'm Well-Equipped with the Proper Tools.

[Useful Fact:   Randy sells bulk used brass, either Floor Sweepings or Sorted.    See him for prices.]

What Glock do you want to shoot? You bring Factory ammo, and I'll bring the Glock for you to use

Chris Z.........

Now there's a Very Generous Deal that (a) is Hard to Beat and (b) I Hereby Accept With Alacrity.

It's kinda funny that I don't even have a Glock and you are asking OK which kind do I want to shoot?

Glock 18, I guess.

But...Actually.....[Glock 18-1] = Glock 17 or anything else in 9mm will be Hunky Dory by Me.

And I'll count up the rounds on that shooting schedule and bring the appropriate number of rounds in Factory Ammo, fer sure.

Thanks Again.

See You There.

And.....HuskerXDM:

We now know that Chris Z has Glocks and XDs.

Betcha for Absolutely Sure that he's got at least one CZ.   Probably CZ 75.

Already had his initials on it when he bought it.   Saves all that costly engraving.

Folks, if you want to shoot the indoor match and don't have a Glock, bring some 9mm ammo and show up.  If I'm there, you can take your pick of a G26, G19, or a G34, and I'm sure my wife would let you use her G17.

Plus Chris might have one or two lying about that he could be bribed into letting you try.  :)

Hmm.  I'll bring my G21 also, in case someone wants to shoot .45acp.  (Bring .45acp ammo!.) I won't be there all morning, but I'm planning on getting there pretty early, and staying awhile just to hang around with people I know I'll like.

No reloads or lead nose bullets, please.  You may be the best reloader in the world, but if anyone is going to blow up one of my guns, it should be ME.  :)

We'll probably be there around 8:30am, and hang out for awhile.  Come shoot!

So Chris,
I got the newsletter from Thunder Alley and since Glock isn't officially sanctioning this event do you have to be a member of GSSF?

The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.

Just a note for those coming to the range for = the GSSF shoot (or anytime) PLEASE do not park in front of Valhalla Bee = Farm. I don?t want to have to pull anyone off the line to move = their vehicle or have any vehicles towed. The street is fair game on = both sides but it does make it fairly narrow to get a vehicle through. = There is an empty lot just north west of the range that you may park in = also. I truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding with this, = it will make life easier for all of us.

Well..............

Glocks Were Rocked.

Chris Z and Randy Lauer put on a Fine Glock Event Today.

Lotsa Glockmeisters milling around Thunder Alley.   Many Fine and Familiar Faces.

There was excellent traffic control and throughput of shooters on the range.

I got to Shoot My First Glock.    [Actually, Chris' Glock 17; my Federal factory ammo.]

Next month I will plan to bring a good Choke Tube [Full or Turkey] for the Glock so that my Groups Tighten Up just a Little Bit.   As it wuz, Mine looked like they were shot with 3-1/2" shells,  2-oz of T-shot loading.   Cylinder Bore.

Final Item:   Thanks again for the loaner, Chris.   And the organizing.

Question - the outdoor Rock you Glock matches in the summer are open to any handgun, not just Glocks, right?  I only own one tupperware pistol and it's not made in Austria :D
