Attempted holdup in GI
« on: February 26, 2011, 09:24:03 AM »
Caught this on Channel 10 news last night .

Early Friday AM, (2 AM)  apparently two armed men approached another man and demanded his car keys outside of a C-mart of some kind. (Casey's) On South Locust street anyway.

He ignored them and continued on into the store.  They left w/o incident.

I wish I could link to the story but the 10/11 website doesn't have the story and the GI Independent website is painfully S-L-O-W!

I can't help but think that these two potential robber types were very dedicated individuals to sit in wait for their victim given the cold weather.  Either that or they were waiting in a nearby house or car.

"It is better to avoid than to run; better to run than to de-escalate; better to de-escalate than to fight; better to fight than to die. The very essence of self-defense is a thin list of things that might get you out alive when you are already screwed." – Rory Miller

BWAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHA now that is funny.  Momma always told me it was easiest to just walk away sometimes.
The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.
