Cited for driving left of center?
« on: March 11, 2011, 06:17:00 PM »
Just heard this reported on 1110AM's top of the hour news and the funniest part of the citation isn't that she hit a snowplow:

Quote
Police cited 29-year-old Jessica Deniger of Omaha for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving left of center. She lost control of her car near 117th and Giles on February 25th, crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a snowplow.

I didn't realize you could be cited for driving "left of center"...  ::)
"I will accept the rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do." -Robert Heinlein

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

More like Sen. Nantkes, the 3 time drunk driving get-over artist:

The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and  THAT is a damned shame.  III.

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

Yes 'left of center' is a citation, never had one, but did get a warning. I only went left of center because I was going under the speed limit, watching the officer in my rearview and trying to remember if I had taken all the beer out of the truck (loooonnnggg time ago!)
