88 Tactical is offering a FREE 3 hour handgun awareness course each month in an effort to teach students the basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate a pistol. Classes are held at our range in Tekemah Ne. This is the same training that other ranges charge $100 for
Intro to Handgun courses are scheduled for November 10th. AM class runs 9-12, PM class runs 1-4.
Students will need to provide their own .22 caliber handgun along with 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. If you don't have a .22 caliber handgun we have a limited number of rentals available. The rental fee is $10, this includes the use of a .22 caliber pistol and ammunition, and must be reserved when registering.

This course offers the student new to handguns basic classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn the rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, two-handed standing positions, cleaning the pistol, and additional opportunities for ongoing skill development.
Initial gun-handling is provided for each student at a comfortable pace, ensuring the critical element of safety at all times. Following this introductory instruction, the student is then given range time to demonstrate and practice newly learned skills of gun handling.- Shawn
