Great time shooting with everyone today!  For anyone considering shooting with the Eastern Nebraska Pactical Shooters I can't say enough about how welcoming they are to new shooters.  Anytime is a great time to pick up the sport...

Glad you had a good time!

And hopefully next month it'll be about 30 degrees warmer.  :)

Good, Maybe............The Rugers will run. Definately a frustrating day for a couple old dogs.  :(

Now, maybe we can figure out the problem and find a cure.  ::)

That was some great shooting!  Since I wasn't on your squad, what rifle were you shooting?  You had some outstanding times!

That was definitely brutal for me. I've never had that much trouble with my .22's! Neither the Ruger or Neos would run, tried 2 different ammos. I gave up before something bad happened with all my fiddling around with jammed guns and magazines. Don't want a DQ can holder just yet!If its that cold again next month, I going back to my Para. That thing is so worn and loose, would probably run frozen in a block of ice

Thank you sir, it means alot to me.

The rifle is a S&W M&P15-22 with a Aimpoint T-1 2 MOA, trigger and internals are factory. I did change the stock and grip. Forum member moparjake made the muzzle brake in his garage. I  thought I posted in this thread about squading up with whomever wanted to share it at the match but I guess I didn't hit 'post' or I closed the browser before it did what it needed to do. The offer still stands for the next match or if you just want to check it out.

I'm actually happy I went with this over a .22 conversion or even a dedicated .22 build. I ran it bone dry (dope!) yesterday and had no mafts.

It was definitely a cold one.  I have never seen so many gun problems in my limited experience.  I don't if 22's are more finicky with a rimfire primer as opposed to a larger centerfire one.  Let's hope it's a few degrees warmer next month.
