I really think your heart is in the right place. Unfortunately, there, IMO, is no political solution to the current mess we are in. The takers won the last election. The government, meaning mainly the entrenched bureaucrats, will collapse. This will happen when they can't pay the bills because the rest of the world finally realizes there is no way for America to pay back our debt.
The elected kleptomaniacs, I mean politicians, have marginal impact on anything, they pass laws but let the unelected folks decide how to enact and enforce them.
