I was a member of a wrist watch forum, there the members would do one of the oddest things I have ever seen in a forum.
These members would give watches away to other members. Just start a thread, who wants a Seiko? Who wants a Casio?
Watchseek was the name of it, I think. I don't go there anymore. Out of the watch phase. lol The members also did a lot of trading of watches, and some outright selling.
Should we offer to give guns to other members, and start a giving war?
Some threads listed a watch, and you would put your name in the thread, if you were interested, and you would say why you wanted that watch, and the owner decided who to give it to. Other people put names in a hat. I saw some pretty expensive watches just given away.
( I wondered if the forum owner had about twenty names secretly going back to him, so he would win lots of watches. I asked him, and he banned me lol)
