the Lincoln gun show is sept 28-29. at the Lancaster event center, admission is $4.00
9 to 5 sat, 9 to 4 sunday.
I have 2 tables, hope to see many of you there

WOO YOO! FarmerRick missed a good buy on a Marlin. My eagle eyes snagged it right up! Now to hit the range.

(Most everything else was ridiculously priced!)

It looks like prices have come down from "ridiculous" at the last Lincoln gun show to the usual "overpriced", with the exception of .22 ammo. $80 - $85 a brick.

I saw a couple of good deals, but like most gun shows they were few and far between.

I found a pretty good deal on a Polish (?) TT33. Too bad I didn't have the extra money, or it would have a new home.

I didn't think prices were too terrible, but you had to dig for the good prices.

Not a bad show, but ammo is still overpriced for guy. $125 for a brick of 22 long rifle? Gimme a break

I sat there all day, watching things go by, one guy was selling 22 bricks for $45,
still not great, but coming down,
lots of people walking around with guns for sale, the ar-15,s are still high,
but they didn't seem to be interested in the underprice things that I was selling.

I was one of those guys with one for sale. However, i had vendors telling me I had a good price on it. (Hell, I even gave my info to a vendor who is thinking about it)

All in all, it was a pretty poor turnout both days. Most of the people at the show were old guys, still trying to buy guns at 1970's prices. It doesn't make any sense to sell stuff for less than you have in it. One old girl didn't understand that gun shows aren't like flea markets, she was beating up the guy at the next table to sell her a new 380 pistol at half his asking price, she said she could buy things at flea markets for half the asking price, why not guns?

i thought the show was pretty large in number of vendors, but yeah, the attendance was low... low especially for a non-Husker football weekend... although the car auction in NE Nebraska may have taken a few people away. i saw some deals, but didn't buy a whole lot. but i did see a Troy mag for $50 and AR's for over $1,100.

Lots of vendors, and most sales seemed to be dealer to dealer. I talked with several vendors who sold nothing, perhaps everybody tapped themselves out earlier this year in the panic. The Sept show has a reputation for being a loser, and my group probably won't do it again. January is usually much better.
