im not sure if this thread is dead yet or not, but i was at cabelas tuesday to get a credit card.  i noticed one thing.... they had a TON of 7.62x39mm ammo.  i mean tons of it.  they were all 500 bulk packages of Wolf Military Classic.  i think it was $155 per 500 if i remember right.  is that a good deal?  even though i think its steel cased, i think im gonna pick up maybe two of them.

they had some .223 and 5.56 ammo, but it was more expensive than scheels.  i also noticed they had a few AR's and other tactical guns.

just in case anyone wanted to know.

ill be there sunday around 1pm.  see ya then.

No, it is not dead. Huskergun, FarmerRick and I plan on setting up there saturday morning to sign people up. Come on out and meet us face to face. Remember the Recess Rally is also going on at noon at 18th and Farnum on saturday also. May be a great opportunity to increase our membership.

We got a quick mention from Crash Davis this morning on KFAB(he's in for Scott Voorhees today). He announced that we were signing up new members at Cabela's this weekend. 

He's been a good supporter of the NFOA...and he lives in Iowa!

Just got back.  Biggest crowd I've seen there so far.  Met FarmerRick, LitlRat, and Huskergun, who were working the table, and JimP stopping by to visit as I did.  Looked like they had a pretty nice pile of signups filled out already, and the place was really hoppin'.  Seemed like there was at least one person signing up pretty much all the time while I was there.  Good job guys.

I picked up a box of 45ACP and some 38sp, too.  They had a good assortment of both, and quite a bit on the shelves.  I appeared they were out of 9mm, or at least target practice priced 9mm.  I also got one of the nicer, round NFOA stickers, and I'm going out to clean off a spot on my bumper for it right now.

that is nice!  and we have tomorrow yet!  ill be at cabelas around noonish or 1pm.

now lets hope they all contribute and spread the word!  strength in numbers.

I have some of my own. I'll try to stop by and drop them off.
 Good luck to Dan and Chris and who ever else goe's Sunday. Just a tip.... You may have to get into the isle a little bit and get the peoples attention.
 You guys will also be given a card for a free lunch ( anything from the deli). Good food. Enjoy and let's see if you guys can top us. Good luck  ;D
 I would be there before 10am. I think they are given some things away to the first 100 people through the door.
