I think he was really born in area 51.

Here we are 6+ months into his presidency.  Even if proof was provided that he was born on Mars, there is NO WAY he'd be booted from office.  Cities would burn if SCOTUS ordered US marshals to escort BHO from the White House.

And then what?  Would Biden get sworn in or would the whole election be considered a sham and require a "do over"?  What happens to all of the bills he signed into law?  Would they be invalid?

Of course not.  You articulated my point very well - it would be a disaster.  I suppose of the election was declared invalid, Pelosi might get the nod.  (eek)

There's no point in worrying about it as far as the "birthers" situation.  Even if there was any truth to the "born in Kenya" stuff, it will never be enough to have Obama removed from office.  Now, if someone were to assassinate him, we might have something to worry about.  Not only would another anti-gunner take his place, but (assuming a gun was used in the assassination) a whole lot of emotionally charged idiots would jump on the anti-gun wagon.

This is really a moot point.   He is a United States Citizen regardless of where he is born due to his mother being a United States Citizen.   And with A&Hs use of the word a**a**nation and Obama, he may have black cars pulling up to his house tonight.

Well, in retrospect, that probably wasn't the wisest post I ever made.  For the record, I was not suggesting that I had any intention myself, nor that I wished for anyone else to do the "A" thing to Obama.  As a matter of fact, my point was that, should something of this nature befall our current President, it would put us gun-owners in a more precarious situation than we are now in regard to the threat of stricter gun controls.  Our best hope is to work our fingers to the bone writing anyone who will listen and hope that we stave off any further assaults on the 2A until we can get a more gun friendly person elected.

Actually I don't think it is a moot point. This is a serious constitutional issue bullit. The issue here is not whether he is a United States Citizen but a Natural Born Citizen as the US Constitution requires. Any legal immigrant today or since the Constitution was ratified and who acquires citizenship will never be able to be President. I for instance am a US Citizen but was born outside of the United States. I was born in Austria just like Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. This fact disqualifies me to ever serve as President. I was born to an American father and a German mother. I also have dual citizenship.
If it indeed turns out that the current President was born in Kenia as his Grandmother has already stated, than he will have been an illegal President and everything he signed is null and void because he has just been an ordinary citizen this whole time. The military would also come into jeopardy because they would have been following the orders of an illegitimate President which would cause problems with international law.
Obviously several scenarios could happen, it just depends on how the American people, Congress, SCOTUS, and the military react to such a revelation.
1. Nothing may happen (Congress, SCOTUS and everyone agrees that he was still elected by the people and therefore he is President, thus however ignoring the Constitution once again) This may or may not cause the Constitution to become obsolete. Again it depends on what We the People and Congress and the Courts make of it.
2. Everything he ever signed will become null and void and he is removed from office, VP Biden is sworn in as Prez and he has to sign the stack of bills and orders that Obama has since signed. However this move angers all the people that voted for him, especially the black folks of whom 98% voted for him and they all start freaking out, riot, and burn cities to the ground, possibly causing martial law to be enacted until everything settles)

There are probably more scenarios that we can think of but these two come to mind for me.

Bullit I don't know if you are aware of all of the facts surrounding Obama's whereabouts but from what I have heard there is no record of Obama ever having a passport. He went to Pakistan in 1984 or so and at the time Pakistan was under martial law and they were not allowing American citizens into the country at the time. So how did he get in?

There is also the controversy regarding the age of his mother at the time US Citizenship was supposedly transferred to him. She supposedly was 18 at the time and therefore under the law of the time not allowed to transfer citizenship to her son. The age to be able to do that was 19.

I'm not trying to say that he is not a Natural Born Citizen, what I am trying to say is that WE SIMPLY DON'T KNOW. And the fact that there was no process of verifiying that Obama is legally allowed under the Constitution to serve as Prez is very disturbing and scares the heck out of me. Here we have a constitutional requirement to hold the highest office in the land, and no one bothered to check all his credentials. The short form (Certificate of Live Birth) Hawaiian birth certificate that he posted on the internet does not prove that he was born in Hawaii. Someone doesn't even have to be born in Hawaii to receive a Certificate of Live Birth. See link:

http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol06_Ch0321-0344/HRS0338/HRS_0338-0017_0008.htm

He needs to release his long form birth certificate, if he at all has one. One that looks like this:

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=105347

Now lawyer Orly Taitz has come up with this Kenian birth certificate. We shall see if it is real or not.

See article: Is this really smoking gun of Obama's Kenyan birth?
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=105764

All the data mentioned and talked about around the country has put significant doubts about the status of where he was born. And the fact that he keeps throwing hundreds of thousands in legal fees and a cadre of lawyers at the issue only to prevent releasing his long form bc is very suspect. Courts have dismissed most of the challenges, many times basing that the citizens don't have standing (load of crap). And yet new suits keep on popping up. Taitz has filed suit along with former presidential candidate and GOP nominee and then opponent to Senator Obama for the Illinois senate seat Alan Keys. A number of military figures have also joined the suit including a retired general.

I believe in the constitution of the United States. However I am going to go out on a limb here and say that if his presidency is overturned much worse things happen to this country. Not that any of his policies or his "advisors" (czars, dictators, administrators, whatever) are helping this country any either but there is much more to be worried about. Like making sure this health care nonsense is not passed, no treaties of disarmament etc. They want us trying to fight a million battles so that there are a million little units off in their own lala land. Do I think there is truth to the birth certificate accusations? yes. Do I think we should be so focused on getting him out that we loose track of what else is going on? absolutely not. There are many pressing issues we need to focus on. But unfortunately I don't think this country could stand after the battle that would ensue if he were disqualified.

Read all of this before you get mad, but Obama may be the best thing that has happened to this country in decades. Why? His policies and agenda are so far left, that he may just wake up all the sleeping people in this country, and they may band together and change a few things back to the way they are supposed to be. Please wake up America!
