A Republic.... if you can keep it
« on: October 03, 2013, 07:50:10 PM »
The US is NOT a democracy!!!

How many of you know that the Senate was AND should be appointed by the state legislatures, not voted on?
How many of you know that the Constitution is bindings on Government, not the people?
How many of you know that ANY LAW (that includes every weapon law in this nation, even background checks and permits) that infringes, contradicts, etc. the Constitution is null and void? Which means that those laws have no power and it is criminal to enforce them. (this means violating such false laws is no crime and should not be punished...any punish under said false laws is a criminal act, wrong, etc.... basically, there is a lot of people being falsely punished/imprisoned in this country...)
How many of you know that the 16th amendment was never fully ratified, not to mention is in violation of the Constitution as it does not restrict government but free it? The Founders would have launched a full scale assault on every state capital and the federal capital if the government tried to institute such a tax... so where were we?

"To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them."
Richard Henry Lee - one of the founding fathers speaking on behalf of the 2nd amendment.

"Americans have the right and advantage of being armed - unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms."
James Madison - founding father and writer of the Constitution speaking on the behalf of the 2nd amendment

"No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms."
Thomas Jefferson - Founding father, stated during the drafting of the Virginia Constitution, 1776.

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks."
Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1785. The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, (Memorial Edition) Lipscomb and Bergh, editors.

"Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people."
Tenche Coxe, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.

The US is an older nation than most of Europe.

Germany of today is only around 23 years old. Nazi Germany only lived for about 10 years.
France of today is also only around 23 years old.
Great Britain didn't finalize its move from Monarchy/dictatorship to its vile democracy it is today until 1918...making it only 95 years old today. But of course they are working on getting back to a dictatorship...much the same as we are facing here with our corrupt government that does nothing but violate their only duty: secure and protect individual rights.
The Eastern Europe countries are also only around 23 years old (fall of the Soviet Union).
Spain has been reestablished into a different nation 2 times in the last 100 years.
and so on.

So, no, they are not older nations and most definitely not smarter...they have yet to fully shed their shackles like our founders accomplished in 1776. But of course today...we have merely put the shackles back on ourselves.

Remind yourselves that the country isn't entirely lost. I have not placed myself in any shackles, and I continue to live my life as I think the Founders would have desired. We're a large group of like-minded people. Most of us have children that can and will follow in our footsteps.

I think it's time for us to focus a little less on our undereducated, low information counterparts. Live your life in the way that you would like those people to live theirs. Be an example for them. Set a standard that they can see and either accept, or deny.

I have started living my life in this way every day, and I absolutely have seen those around me rise to meet my standards.

But of course they are working on getting back to a dictatorship...much the same as we are facing here with our corrupt government that does nothing but violate their only duty: secure and protect individual rights.

We are in the 3rd day  of the gov "shutdown" over Obamacare, which is turning out to be a total disaster.   Many federal employees were sent home without pay, but some were required to continue working WITHOUT PAY, although if the past is any indication they will get back pay when the gov opens up again.   In 9 days another crisis arrives: the debt limit will be reached and the gov will be "out of money", in addition to being $17T in debt.   Actually, they've been out of money for quite awhile, but Obama has kept the printing presses  running anyway.   Hyper-inflation anyone?  These events are on top of the "Fast & Furious" false flag operation, the IRS, TSA, NSA, FBI, EPA, and other scandals, all examples of the Obama administration illegally  using federal agencies to harass his and the Democrats political  enemies.  Meanwhile, his wholly owned support group (ABC, NBS, CBS, CNN, AP, Rutgers, NPR, etc., Leftists one and all) blame everyone else except those causing the scandals and the problems!  His foreign policy is equally bazaar.    He aids our enemies and abuses our friends.   The US has become a laughing stock in the world and NO world leader believes what the administration says.

I've come to the conclusion that there is a method to his madness.   ALL of this makes sense if one assumes that his goal is to destroy the Constitution and this Republic and replace it with a Socialist worker's "paradise".   All he needs is some national chaos to give him the excuse to declare a national emergency and activate E.O.  13603.

When I first read that document, before the scandals and todays serious problems,  I didn't see it as the vehicle to establish a dictatorship.   Now, I do.   A President who can tell federal agencies to selectively target and harass his and the Democrats political enemies, knowing that his back would be covered by a sycophant press,  is capable of executing Constitution destroying E.O.'s, and we have no idea of what the E.O.s that haven't been publicly revealed contain.

http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Executive_Order_13603

It's putative purpose  is to "identify, assess, be prepared, improve, foster cooperation" among various cabinet heads and the agencies they control:  " The National Security Council and Homeland Security Council, in conjunction with the National Economic Council, shall serve as the integrated policymaking forum for consideration and formulation of national defense resource preparedness policy and shall make recommendations to the President on the use of authorities under the Act."

These agencies are: The Secretary of Homeland Security,  The Defense Production Act Committee,  The Secretary of Commerce and the Secretary of Defense. They are supposed to "advise" the President and  "provide for the central coordination of the plans and programs", and to "report to the President periodically".    What  leadership is envolved?   PART VII — DEFENSE PRODUCTION ACT COMMITTEE, Sec. 701. The Defense Production Act Committee, lists the Attorney General and every cabinet secretary, PLUS the GSA, NASA and the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers.  Invited attendees are The Director of OMB and the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy.  Who  is missing from the lists of "emergency" leaders?   The Congress, the Senate, and the Supreme Court.   AG Holder apparently will represent the Judiciary.   Can you imagine the current heads of the NSA, IRS, FBI, EPA, being our "supreme leaders"?

The  key section is "Part II, Sec 201".   Its important phrase is " to require acceptance and priority performance of contracts or orders"
The rest of sec 201 describes what the various cabinet secretaries are authorized to do.   A  key player is the Dept. of Homeland Security: "to support programs that have been determined in writing as necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense... including civil defense and continuity of Government".    The "require acceptance of contracts or orders" is an important part of this E.O., which refers to "section 702 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2152".  That Act http://uscode.house.gov/statutes/1970/1970-091-0379.pdf  states that "The term 'defense contractor' means ANY PERSON who enters into a contract with the United States for the production of materials or performance of services for the national defense."     IOW, you can be forced to accept a contract for goods or an order of service which automatically makes you a "defense contractor".    The government owns you and everything you own or produce, to be disposed of as it sees fit, for national security, of course.

Part VIII sec 801 lists the topics that are under these "contracts" or "orders".  They are:
Everything  in the country that is of any value what soever.

This E.O. is part of the "Continuation of Government" supposedly designed to support and sustain the Rule of Law under our Constitution, although it shreds that document completely.   The E.O. does, however, have its own "continuation of E.O.".    Sec 802 gives them the power to "re-delegate authorities, and to authorize the successive re-delegation of authorities to agencies, officers, and employees of the Government", along with subpoena power against everybody except those mentioned in Part IV and V.

The Posse Comitatus Act has not been repealed.  It prohibits the US Military from assisting local, state or federal law officers inside our borders.  It exempts the National Guard.   No problem.  Switch the Army  to the NG and set up "training" exercises in Huston, Florida, L.A., and smaller cities, towns and villages around the country.   Stop people on highways, demand papers and search without a warrant.  Give local FBI the "right to create and sign and execute their own search warrants, sans any probably cause.   Cobra gunships flying 50 feet above a Florida interstate firing .50 cal machine guns (blanks) is training exactly for what?  Invasion, insurrection,  riots?  Or, perhaps, a revolt against the imposition of martial law?

With almost half of the US population now getting some kind of federal assistance (and more free cell phones for signing up with Obamacare, along with being "Navigated" to a Democrat registration place) I doubt that there are enough votes remaining to stop this country's slide into Socialism.   If you read Obama's book you'd know that his "mentor" was Frank Marshall Dave.   Here's the sanitized version of his life:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Marshall_Davis .   You can google for the real story.   Pres. Obama's "mentor" was a hard core communist.  So is Obama and most of the Democrat leadership.   Over 80 of the 520 Congressmen are members of the  "Congressional Progressive Caucus".     The only honest member of the group is Bernie Sanders, who admits he is a Communist.

We are in for a rough ride in the days ahead, and it is predicted that this winter will be  one of the coldest on record.  Perfect time to declare marshal law.

Remind yourselves that the country isn't entirely lost.

I would have fully agreed...if it was 1950 or before...

I have not placed myself in any shackles, and I continue to live my life as I think the Founders would have desired. We're a large group of like-minded people. Most of us have children that can and will follow in our footsteps.

Maybe not you or I have placed ourselves in shackles, but in this democracy they corrupted our country into...others have placed the shackles for us.

Of course we can break those shackles...but we must actually risk everything to do it.

Live your life in the way that you would like those people to live theirs. Be an example for them. Set a standard that they can see and either accept, or deny.

As grand and noble this is and living by example is supreme...it has failed because that is all anyone ever did as the weak, irresponsible, socialist made false law and corrupted the youth. No one stood up and said no. No one took up arms to defend their rights as they were stripped from under them and corrupted into nothing more than a privilege.

When income tax was proposed, several state legislatures rejected, some didn't even bother looking at it (rendering it rejected)...but when they falsely ratified it anyway, no one did anything.

When the Brady Campaign went on their tirade and assault, people made nothing but excuses and false claims such as "the 2nd amendment is about hunting" and "no one needs a fully automatic" (thank you NRA and cowards alike for screwing us all)... all in the name of "compromise", "reasonability", "violence solves nothing", and political correctness...all of which are complete lies.

Political correctness...yet another vile concoction of the socialist cowards and dictators. Now people even here on this forum don't want to get in anyone's face about things. Everyone is so afraid to offend someone... unless of course it's to destroy freedom and individual rights.

Violence solves everything...just not always the way we like it. Violence is part of human nature and we need to stop rejecting nature...it will always win. if it wasn't for violence,  this country would not exist. If it wasn't for our violence here that set the standard for freedom... Australia and India would still be colonies.

And yes, we will agree: the intent is good...but good intentions mean absolutely NOTHING!

"Good intentions are the pathing stones to hell"
"Good works are the pathing stones to paradise"

It is the actions and the results that matter, not the intent or mental thought that went into it. We already know what government does. We already know that it is a mandatory requirement of a free people to be fully armed at all times. We already know that government is evil in any form.

And yet...so many push for more government.

The republic is gone...it's foundation was destroyed 160 years ago... the cycle of human stupidity and weakness repeats. One day... we can only hope we eventually learn to never entrust government with anything and maintain the spirit of resistance, always reminding - on a day to day basis - the government we put in place that we will destroy them if need be, by any and all means... including their supporters.

Yes, GreyGeek...

Everything that has occurred over the last 160+ years...basically ever since Jefferson, Adams, Madison, etc died... has been with the sole goal of destroying this country and taking it back to a dictatorship... to enslave us all.

There is NO WAY possible to recover from this level of debt.
There is NO WAY possible to recover from this level of corruption (both in the government and the people).

Again...if it was back in the 1950s or earlier...such as before income tax, before we were forced out from the gold standard... we had a fighting chance to recover...but not now.
The USA is a Republic...
This is a Democracy...
This is not the USA...
