Million Vet March on the Memorial
« on: October 08, 2013, 07:41:45 AM »
I have two friends that are interested in going. Looking to leave Fri and start home Sun night. Bare bones, fast trip. We would like 1 or 2 more to share expenses. Messing with Vets will not be tolerated!

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

I would love to go but I'm all out of vacation time this year.

Meanwhile, if you're a liberal you're allowed full access to the National Mall:

We are estimating:

Car rental $90

Gas $400

Hotel sat night $100

Metro $7 each

Going to be about $150 per person plus food and drink but you eat at home, too. We are three late 30's guys that are easy going. Looking at leaving Columbus early afternoon Friday and meeting one in Pella, Ia and renting car for $20/ day unlimited miles.

We have booked a car and hotel. We are committed now, even if it is just us three. Pray for our safe travel, please.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

We left at noon Friday and after driving all night, we are a hundred miles from the nearest Metro station. Our spirits are high even as it rains.

One guy contacted me through a mutual friend and we are going to hook up at the WW2 Memorial today.

Good job!  Make sure you get pics.  I'm sure this will be covered up by the media, just like the biker really a few weeks ago.
