I have been told of a guided hunt, with lodging that is coming in.  GuyH has a damascus steel knife on the way.  I believe there will be some auto maintenance offers.  Working on having an ATV, this should be happening.  Many smaller household items and possibly some tools.

The list keeps growing and changing, and to some degree we will not be certain what we have until the day of.  Do you know someone that supports our cause that could donate an item, we could use it.

There are lots of "friends" that do many differing things, many of these are services that you and I pay well for that are no real cost (yes it's time and time is money) that they could donate.  These types of services sell well and make a great donation to the NFOA-PAF.

I suppose this will bring out the haters but I noticed a lot of politicians listed as the entertainment for the evening.  Larry the Cable Guy might be a better choice as entertainment, as opposed to listening to people make promises they don’t keep anyway.  Just my opinion.

While Larry would be more entertaining, this is a political fundraiser and getting to meet and twist the arms of the politicians is the whole point.  The real entertainment is the emcee - Crash Davis, and our auction.

We now have commitments from radio personality Crash Davis, that he will be our emcee for the evening. Also, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer and Senate candidates Sid Dinsdale, Shane Osborn, Bart McLeay, Jim Jenkins and a representative for Ben Sasse. Also in attendance will be Nebraska Governor candidates Pete Ricketts, Charlie Janssen and Beau McCoy are also confirmed speakers. Our Second Amendment rights need to be protected, so you will not want to miss what these candidates have to say about what they will do if they are elected to defend our freedoms. This will also be your chance to tell them your views!

All of our rights need to be protected. It will be a good chance to tell them where we stand.

wow.....lots of .22's, and considering the price and availability of ammo, these might be a tough sell. Just a thought.

I'd sell you an AR, but one of those is just a bit out of my donation budget.

We tried to get an AR critter, but finding a good deal or donation just is not there yet.  There will be a striped lower that was donated today though.

Oh no, lol.....I already have more AR's than I know what to do with.  I just thought it might make for a better auction for the NFOA if we had more variety.  There seems to be a lot of .22's, and while they are great guns and have traditionally been cheap to shoot, they aren't anymore.  If you guys have any ideas or suggestions, just let me know and maybe I can help out.  Feel free to email me.  CritterGitterofOmaha@gmail.com

Bit of a last minute question: Is this considered a "political rally" and thus a no-carry event?

Is the location posted?

Just curious. Thank you.

This is a fundraiser by our PAC (Political Action Committee), where politicians will be giving speeches and trying to get your support.  There is no doubt that this is a political rally, pretty much anything the PAC does is a political rally.  There is some openings on some other fundraisers but politicians would not be speaking at those.

Oh....I thought this was going to be more like the "Friends of the NRA" banquet. Not trying to be rude here but let me get this straight, the Nebraska Firearms Owners Association is having a banquet where firearms are not permitted (concealed carry or otherwise because it is a political rally) to listen to promises political figures will make but never keep anyway?  How is it possible to auction off firearms at a political rally?  Guess I'm just a bit confused.
