Glad I'm seeing the comments that I'm seeing. Even the hoplophobes and their offspring should know what to do if they happen to encounter a firearm...
"Well-regulated" meant well equipped, trained and disciplined... not controlled with an iron fist.

I have a meeting this week to discuss possibly offering an NRA Home Firearm Safety course at summer camp to adult leaders that are in camp for the week. 

We are finding more and more adults that have never owned - handled or even fired a gun of any kind before.
