I work at Advance Auto Parts
« on: November 25, 2013, 10:13:57 AM »
Hey NFOA

I just wanted to throw out to everyone in Lincoln that I work at the Advance Auto Parts on 31st and Cornhusker. My name is Trevor I am not full time but I work Sundays during the day and Mondays after 5 pm(most of the time). I will try and get NFOA members the best deal I can and the best help I can. Let me know who you are when you come in!

We are very gun friendly!  :)

Disclaimer
I know parts stores can be frustrating and we do make mistakes. I am not a mechanic (but I do ok) and no one in our store is a mechanic. We try to help as much as we can. But sometimes we don't have the answers you are looking for. Please remember that we are a retail store and we hire for bodies sometime. I am just trying to offer my helping hand to NFOA members in Lincoln or that may come to Lincoln for parts.

Rock on! I'll be a steady customer, since my POS Chrysler jeep breaks down twice per month.

I usually go to Advance Auto Parts, but it is the branch near 48th & O St.  They have always been good people to deal with.

Do you stock fuel investors?

Need 8 for a 1983 Corvette.
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Glad you happy. Parts houses are a lot like guns...A lot of fanboys!

I usually go to the one on South Street, but they've also been good to work with.  Good to hear they're gun-friendly.

Out of 7000 members, I would suspect I am the only one that understands how difficult it can be to find injectors for an '83.

I hope Advance has them, but you might have to go to NAPA.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.  I carry a lot of ammo because I cant run very fast.

"INJECTORS".....    ;D

I thought Farmer Rick was looking for 8 "Investors" to help him fund the purchase of a 1983 'Vette....

And I dug up the distributor belt for the '83 vette.  Sell it to ya cheap.  Always good to have a spare.

Is it NOS GM part?  (Im sure it is, I dont know that anyone ever made an aftermarket one).  If so I will definitely take it.  Ive been looking for one for a long time.  Hows $40 sound?

Many thanks!!

66BigBlock, sold the distributor belt last night.  Sorry.  Didn't know 83 vettes were so common.  Should have waited, would have made more money.

Dang it...   :(

Been needing one of those for awhile.  Mine is original, but starting to show some wear.  Oh well.  Any other 83 parts sitting around you want to sell?

thanks,

66BigBlock, the only thing I have left for the 83 vette is an open bottle of head light fluid.
