Beretta CX4 Storm
« on: January 13, 2008, 07:12:50 PM »

This is one of my favorite guns. This one is chambered in 9mm. They are also available in .40 S&W and .45 ACP. The carbine comes with a retractable forward accessory rail, and I have added side, top and bottom picatinny rails to which I have mounted an el cheapo laser, light, fore grip, and red dot sight. I REALLY like the Panorama MK-III red dot sight. The only problem is that I can't see the stock sights through it so I would be screwed if the red dot failed or the battery gave up.

This rifle is accurate, affordable to shoot, easy to field strip, and is just plain a hoot to fire. I have no complaints with it.

I have shot this one, and it IS a HOOT!
The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and  THAT is a damned shame.  III.

How much are these?  I know the .45 variant just came out, does anybody have one locally yet?  I have the PX4 Storm in .45, and would like either the CX4 Storm in .45 or an H&K UMP/USC .45 sometime in the near future.

I have a .45ACP  I acquired it last summer when the Beretta factory rep was in town (at the Bullet Hole).  I have equipped it with a Moerse Lekker barrel shroud.  I will try to post a photo this weekend.  I had shot it at Season's Choice shortly before Don closed.  On the handgun thread, I will explain my Px4 subcompact woe.
I added a Harris 6-9" bipod and BSA red-dot sight to my .45 Cx4.  (Using the photo as my avatar now).

Cynical, opinionated, and far to the right of conservative.
