Liberty Arms - New Lincoln, NE Gun store
« on: March 17, 2014, 09:59:24 AM »
Just thought it was interesting and maybe some will be interested in a North Lincoln gun shop. (right on interstate)
As I am somewhat regular at Star city Motorsports (6600 N 27th) I noticed they are about to do some construction.  Asking around, I found out that the owner is adding on to make a larger showroom for side by sides and upstairs will be a "gun shop"  looked around some more and found a sign that says "Coming Soon - Liberty Arms"

I found this Facebook page for it as well - same address.  4000sq ft gun store (on top of the 4000sq ft showroom for vehicles below)

https://www.facebook.com/libertyarmsnebraska

Anyway keep an eye on it.

So apparently there may be some truth to the rumor that the owner of Star City bought out a certain Exeter dealer...
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

The plot thickens!!!! Would actually make sense, I was wondering how he already had "300+ guns in stock" before even having a store...

Interesting.   I wonder if he'll also carry NFA items or if it's just the regular stuff.

How does he pay his back taxes if he has no inventory for the sheriffs sale?

Do LEOs even pay taxes?  I imagine that has something to do with it being an LEO only sale...

There is already a Liberty Arms in Juniata, NE. Probably not the same company though.

Jesse T, ask Stacy, he will know and probably tell the truth if nobody is around. I need to pick up my tire anyway.

Rumors were correct, I was told by an insider that the "certain exeter dealer" was bought out of all inventory at about 70 cents per dollar.  He could not tell me anything about NFA or not. They are scheduled to open June 1 and construction is well underway (cement floor in)

I sure hope his prices are more reasonable than what he charges for his bikes.

The rumors are true.  I went to an invite only sale about a month ago and they were limited on the inventory they had on hand but the sheet they had showing what they had ordered from SHOT show and other manufacturers directly was pretty impressive.  I will say their prices were the best I have seen in over a year on high quality stuff.  I forget when they were telling us they were going to open but it sounded like it would cater to shooters.

When Scheels first opened , they had some of the best prices in Lincoln, a year or so later.............not so much.   Once they established their cliental the prices started climbing.

Not saying this new place will do the same, time will tell

Another rumor has it that they will be giving away ammo (I believe its .22) at their grand opening on June 28th.
