Washington Iowa?
« on: April 10, 2014, 07:58:48 AM »
Ran across this on the Drudge Report and had to share.  The Washington Iowa Police (north of Des Moines) now have a track MRAP.  For a town of 7000?

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

We all make light of what we all see, and are afraid to admit, we no longer live in the country we were born in.  Many of us have not changed, but the country has changed around us.

There was a time, the military could not be turned against American Citizens on home soil.    Only police could do domestic police work.  Now the lines have been blurred to the point, where does one agency stop, and another agency start?

Billions of rounds of ammo, for agency's like the irs, and fema, and army tanks for towns of 8,000 people.

I would say people with children, and grandchildren, have cause for alarm.   Future generations, may look at a future far removed from where it is I came from.

Look what was on the news tonight in Lincoln?

Looks like we all ready have one.   The rims don't match, hope we got a deal on it.

I guess, it does let the police operate in relative safety.

I have mixed emotions, as we go into the future.

Hey I figured it out.  I am jealous, cause it is (almost) bigger than mine!  lol
