It's been nice, but I can see we're not really going anywhere here. When you say teachers were sent the lesson plans to follow, when they were just suggestions on a website; that is hardly "splitting hairs." I pretty much stopped reading when you started in with all of the off-topic ranting, race issues, etc.
Ruger, no. I won't change it from "paranoia" to "fear". In my opinion, much of it is ridiculous and unfounded. Also, I won't give kudos just because you're being civil to someone who doesn't share the same political view as you. Is tolerance something out of the ordinary for you? I would hope it is the norm around here.
With that said, I'll bow out of the thread as it is taking a turn towards something I'd rather not be involved in.
