timer question
« on: April 28, 2014, 08:07:02 PM »
I'm going to get a shot timer.  I know a number of you have one or use one.  Any recommendations?
No smartphone apps, have several, none work the way I want >:D, thanks.

I don't have one...yet, but I've used a friend's CED7000 and it works great.

The Shotmaxx timer is kinda cool.  The accelerometer feature works well when you're shooting with other shooters.

I am intrigued by that timer too.  I need one that I can use at matches, and I am wondering how practical it will be for timing other shooters.  So far, I have not found a lot of info regarding using it in this manner.  Once you get it, if you have any opinion, I would like to hear it.

Any feed back on this abbafandr? I am working on a dry fire program for myself and I would like to get a timmer. Shotmaxx seems pretty neat. Have to start with a phone app for now though...

I like it.  It took me awhile to get the sensitivity adjusted.  It is neat seeing the split times and finding out which gun you operate faster( with data instead of hunches).

Fly I think you could time other shooters with it.  Not being familiar with the usual match timers I don't if this does everything they do.  Not really sure how it is with par times for example, haven't tried that.
