This course is meant for shooters who already grasp the basics of the carbine and pistol. Speed and accuracy will be stressed throughout the course as new subjects are introduced. By the end of the day students should posses all the knowledge necessary to enable them to operate a carbine and pistol at a very advanced level of proficiency.
Course Fee: $100 for DS1 graduates - $150 for new shooters.
Course Length: 8 Hours
The following subjects will be covered
* Confirmation of zero
* Warm up drill
* Competition and dynamic use of barricades
* Unconventional Shooting Positions
* Shooting while moving
* Engaging moving targets
* Immediate action for complex malfunctions
* Speed shooting / multiple target engagement
* Shooting while under physical and mental stress
Equipment Requirements
* Serviceable carbine or rifle (AR, AK, Mini, M1A, etc.)
* At least 400 rounds of rifle ammunition
* At least 6 functional magazines
* A way to carry at least 2 rifle and 2 pistol magazines on your person
* Serviceable Pistol and holster
* At least 300 rounds of pistol ammunition
* A sling for your rifle
* Appropriate clothing
* Eye and Ear Protection (Electronic preferred)
* Weapons lube and applicable tools for your gun (spare parts and batteries recommended)
* Note pad and pen or pencil
* Lunch and Water!!
