Lincoln Gun Show, January 24-25, 2015
« on: October 19, 2014, 09:50:15 AM »
Here's the deal: January show is the big one, it usually fills the pavilion, instead of half like the September show.

I can work it Saturday like usual, and can probably take a day off on Sunday to do it if I have to.

My justification is this: without putting ourselves out there in the public eye, how can we honestly expect our membership numbers to grow? Every show I have been to, I always run into a few people that still do not have any idea what the NFOA is!

Your votes over the next 7 days will tell me whether or not I should pay for a table.
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

As long as there isn't a blizzard and I have to work, I'll be there on Saturday to help out again again.

I vote yes. Not everyone goes to every gun show every time.

I doubt i can help, but will have to see later.

Bobs topic made me revive this one. I just filled out the paperwork for the table and it goes to Ardis tomorrow.

Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 - 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

It's nearly always busier on saturday, unless there's a blizzard.

I'm new and will drop by the chew the fat awhile.  Driving down from Bellevue so I don't know if I can volunteer to help.  I'll bring a thermos of coffee though...

Anyone interested in helping for a few hours on sunday?  I am buying lunch for the Sunday volunteer squad!
What a deal?
1.Free admission to one of the state's largest gun shows
2.you can talk about guns all day long
3.free lunch!

What else is there?

Well, it seems I won't be able to help out after all.

I ended up getting a table to sell off some excess guns & stuff.

Anyone who regularly posts here and who has a table at this show should put his NFOA screen name somewhere on his table so those who haven't met him can see the face behind the name.  That is providing he hasn't said anything to upset any of us crazies.

Also, I will have lots of brochures delivered this Thursday.  If any of you that frequent the Gun Show circuit and would like brochures to keep on your table, please contact me. I will get them to you this weekend.
