Bullit Gets the Day Off Work..........

OK.......Omaha World-Herald sez today is the anniversary of actor Steve McQueen's death in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1980.

Age 50.

Bullit gets the day off from work.   Sending this msg early in the day so that he gets it before showering up and backing out of the driveway.

And please let the record show that I also briefly wore the Navy Blue.  Active uniformed duty, both US naval services, by age 19.  Figger that one out.

Bullitt was on last night at 11pm.  I watched the whole thing again for about the 30th time.

Still wish I had one of those rifles.

The rifle he used in the movie Tom Horn was pretty cool as well.  Loved the brass scope.
