At issue is a 27-year-old Chicago law banning handguns, requiring the annual taxation of firearms, and otherwise interfering with the right of law-abiding individuals to keep guns at home for self-defense. The case was brought on behalf of four Chicago residents, the Second Amendment Foundation, and the Illinois State Rifle Association

This is a case where grass roots organizations are taking charge, with a little help from the CCRKBA. Notice there is no mention of the NRA, until it looks like the SAF will win, then they will jump on board. This is a good tool to use against those who think that belonging to the NRA is all they need to do.

AAllen and I met Alan Gura and Alan Gottlieb in St. Louis at the Gun Rights Policy Conference, they are the go-getters when it comes to domestic issues, and are running on an adrenaline high right now. If you are looking for another group to help support, after donating to the NFOA, go check them out.

The sheep don't like this sheepdog until the wolves start working the flock.

Alan Gura is far more deserving of a Nobel than Obama.
