IDPA Nebraska Indoor "BUG" Match, January 10, 2015
« on: December 31, 2014, 01:11:26 PM »
Get out your bug repellant spray.....  :o

There is an IDPA Nebraska Indoor "BUG" Match scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Thunder Alley Indoor Shooting Range in Lincoln, NE.  8)

Match runs from 8:30am-11:00am. A very SHORT briefing and walkthrough will be at 8:15am (Read the IDPA BUG Match rules below carefully as we will NOT be taking up the walkthrough/briefing time to review the rules).  ;D  For those who do not register online by the 5:00pm CST deadline, they can register on-site at Thunder Alley beginning at 7:45am on the day of the match.

Fee is $10 for non-members of Thunder Alley and $5 for members.

Since this match is a formal IDPA match (i.e., it is listed on the IDPA website, and scores for current IDPA members get posted to the IDPA website), there will only be one gun entry allowed for the match when registering online at http://www.idpamatchsignup.com?matchid=1B2555C7-5896-4CC0-A367-458EA2FA3F94 . Depending upon the number of shooters and time remaining after the last registered shooter has shot, we may allow for a second gun to be shot for fun (i.e., not for inclusion in match scoring/posting).

Online registration will close at 5:00pm CST on Friday, January 9, 2015 (I included CST because a few folks seem to live in some other time zone and continue to register online towards midnight and even in the wee hours of the day of the match).  ONLY those who have registered online by 5:00pm CST will have scoresheets prepared for when they come to Thunder Alley on Saturday morning.  The on-site registrations will need to complete the scoresheet onsite.

Holster draw required?

Some additional info for Saturday's IDPA Nebraska?'s First Indoor BUG Match at Thunder Alley Indoor Shooting Range?:  ;D

No holsters needed for this BUG match. All stages/strings will be from the low ready.

No concealment required for this BUG match.

Mags for the BUG gun must be the stock mags for the respective BUG gun (i.e., G17 mags cannot be used in a G26).

There will be stages with 3 strings (5 rounds each). If folks do not have 3 mags, there will be tables set up behind each firing line where the shooter can keep his/her ammo, and others can help load the shooter's mag after each string to keep the match flowing.
